After years of dominating gymnastics, Simone Biles is exploring a new passion — horseback riding.
The seven-time Olympic gold medalist shared glimpses of her lessons on Instagram, showing herself in riding boots and jodhpurs at local stables near her recently completed Texas megamansion.
Joking about retraining her body, she captioned one post: “Being told to flex my feet feels criminal.”

Life Between Texas and Chicago
Biles has been balancing her time between her custom-built lakefront mansion in Spring, Texas, and a residence in Chicago, where her husband, NFL safety Jonathan Owens, plays for the Bears.
While Owens prepares for his second season in Chicago, Biles has been spotted both supporting him on the sidelines and enjoying downtime at home — trading the balance beam for horseback riding lessons.

Hints at an Olympic Return
Though she’s relishing this slower pace, Biles hasn’t ruled out a comeback on the world’s biggest stage.
Speaking to Olympics.com, she admitted that while Paris 2024 may have been her last Games, she’s leaving the door open for Los Angeles 2028.

“I want it to be my choice when I’m done,” she said, adding a hopeful, “never say never.”
Whether she returns as a competitor or simply as a spectator, Biles has already confirmed she plans to be present at the LA Games.
For now, though, the champion is content with quieter days, riding horses near home instead of chasing medals.
Building Life Beyond Gymnastics
The new chapter comes as Biles continues to shape her life beyond gymnastics.
Her Texas property, built over two years, offers privacy, luxury, and space for her evolving interests.
Just miles away sits her parents’ World Champions Centre gym, the facility where she trained for three Olympics and where she could return if the competitive fire reignites.

For now, Simone Biles seems to be savoring life’s balance: enjoying married life, supporting her husband’s career, and mastering new skills — proof that even the greatest gymnast of all time is still learning new ways to soar.
